About Blanca Cobb

Body Language and Lie Detection Expert

Blanca Cobb, CEO of TruthBlazer, is a nationally recognized body language and lie detection expert who uses her behavior analysis expertise and psychology background to get to the truth. She is also a Senior Instructor at the Body Language Institute in Washington, DC. Blanca is an ‘in-demand’ media guest, speaker and coach who breaks down the complexities of human behavior to help people succeed in life. She’s been featured on HLN’s Dr. Drew On-Call, Good Morning America, CNN, USA Today, FOX, ABC, CBS, NBC affiliates as well as quoted in the New York Daily News, The Root, and Cosmopolitan magazines. Since deception can infiltrate all aspects of life, no topic is off-limits for Blanca.

Blanca uses her people-reading secrets and lie busting techniques to put you in the know whether it’s understanding what politicians are really saying with their body language on the campaign trails, what your partner’s smile really implies when you talk about settling down, or what your client’s head nod really suggests when she says that she’ll think over the proposal. Wouldn’t you agree that to get ahead in life, you’ve got to have a strategic edge? After all, you deserve to know the truth!

Blanca’s unconventional path as a body language and lie detection expert began at a young age. She was a child crime victim and target of bullying. As you might imagine, Blanca developed survivor instincts to figure out whom she could trust. Yet, these instincts were limited until she began training with international experts in the field. Blanca has had the opportunity to train at a level few civilians have. Some of the experts she has trained with include:

  • Janine Driver, Body Language and Detecting Deception expert
  • Mark McClish, Statement Analysis expert
  • Stan Walters, Interview and Interrogation expert
  • Bob Shaffer, Linguistic Statement Analysis expert
  • Mark Reid, Interview and Interrogation expert

Blanca has a B.A. in Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a M.S. in Psychology from North Carolina State University.
